Coverage

Embrace's site shows its national V6 terms for Pennsylvania; we found no Pennsylvania endorsement or disclosure, and no Pennsylvania document naming the insurer company (V6 says only American Modern Insurance Group; the national disclosure names American Modern Home Insurance Company). V6 gives 15 days to return the policy, while Pennsylvania law requires 30. Accidents have no waiting period; illness waits 14 days, and the wait is lifted if a vet exam after the start date records that the pet has no conditions or clinical signs. Cruciate ligament disease, IVDD, kneecap luxation and hip dysplasia with signs in the first 180 days are excluded for life, and a condition on one side excludes the other side. Without a vet exam in the 12 months before or 14 days after the start, the policy is accident-only until an exam. Raising cover resets the illness wait and the pre-existing check from the date of the change. Embrace's national disclosure says the premium may rise with claim history, age and a move, and that claims must be filed within 60 days after the policy term ends.

  2. Corrected the age rule: accident-only enrollment at 15 and older appears only in the guidelines filed with pending 26-812. Moved the Florida rate filings to unverified because their direction is not public. Corrected the Claim History ages, the 2022 accident-only example, the 60-day cancellation clause and the Florida group attribution
  3. First draft from California filing 26-812 and the Florida IRFS filing list
