Embrace is underwritten in Texas by American Modern Home Insurance Company.

Coverage

The 180-day orthopedic figure is a lifetime exclusion in Embrace's V6 terms for Texas: cruciate ligament disease, IVDD, patellar luxation or hip dysplasia in dogs that show signs in the first 180 days are never covered. Accidents have no wait; illness waits 14 days, waived if a vet exam after the start date finds no conditions. Without a vet exam in the 12 months before or the 14 days after the start date, the policy is accident-only. Raising coverage restarts the illness wait and the pre-existing check. Premium, reimbursement, deductible and terms can change at renewal, and premiums rise with age. Embrace's own Texas price examples differ by city: the same 8-week-old Chihuahua costs $17.51 a month in Dallas and $13.04 in San Antonio. Texas rates are not filed.

Moved the Florida rate filings to unverified because their direction is not public. Corrected the Claim History ages, the 2022 accident-only example, the 60-day cancellation clause and the Florida group attribution
  3. First draft from California filing 26-812 and the Florida IRFS filing list
