Fetch Pet Insurance Texas Review
Fetch is administered by Fetch Insurance Services, LLC and underwritten in Texas by AXIS Insurance Company.
Coverage
The 180-day orthopedic figure is a lifetime exclusion, not a waiting period: in form GPTM 050 1125 A orthopedic conditions that appear in the first 180 days are never covered, except knees cleared by a vet exam within 180 days and conditions caused by an accident. Accidents have no wait; illness and injuries from normal activity wait 15 days. Curable conditions seen in the year before the policy are excluded for one more year. Once you have made a claim you can never raise your coverage. Only the first surgical removal of a swallowed object per policy year is covered. Under the Texas endorsement GPTM 100-TX 0124 A, premium and terms can change at renewal, and a renewal that reduces coverage does not happen automatically. Texas rates are not filed.

History
- Clarified the California loss ratio: the 1.126 development factor applies to losses only (1.000 for defense and cost-containment expense), which gives 61.8%
- Added BBB and Trustpilot ratings checked on 13 October 2026
- Corrected the California loss-ratio statement: the +12.9% was set on the rate template's adjusted ratios (74.8%, 71.8%, 74.5%) for years ending 30 June, not on the raw 55-65% ratios. Marked the rate manual and the optional exclusion endorsements as California sources, clarified the prior-claims thresholds, the deductible options and the Florida 50-claim rule, and removed the pro about puppies and the age-at-inception factor.
